The loveliness of earth

excuse me for my little brain

words always strikes a nerve

blue always falling like rain

often written to arouse a feeling

some or better and some are worse

but the beautiful lines give spiritual healing

i do what ever i want

live to the limit and beyond

always break the rules

remain undefined

yes sometimes it results in playing fools

but how wonderful it can be to color outside the lines

yes i went to college and school

what does education give us

what do we get out of lectures and grades

i focus on love

through the prose and the rhymes are several fire escapes

say what you want to say

as a butterfly I will fly away

through all the gray and mundane

under the blue stormy rain

finding paradise once again

the land of free form

where imagination makes everything a possibility.

new butterflies swarm

as I hear a buzz within me

I feel the sun's warmth kissing my body inspiring  poetry

surrendering to new birth
