Strange New Season

is saying hello opening the pandora’s box
yet i just feel without you I am so lost
too dangerous to set free
too intoxicating to kill
but I guess the sign is clear
he didn’t respond to me
i guess his love for me is no longer here
he has chosen his free will
our love lives on
in the shadows and the dawn

our love can never disappear

though that move was a foolish one

i must move on for my own reason

i welcome the strange new season

This is an interesting and emotional poem....

I get a sense that the writer has been burnt in some way by love and is now seeking to find a fresh start.....

long long ago there was someone I had wished I'd said hello to....well, more than that...she was a crush from school...But I never acted on the impulse and live with that now.
I wonder if it would have been easier to live with trying and failing.
