Douchebag in Disguise

Douchebag in Disguise

A Poem by butterfly

In the end we conclude he is just another douchebag in disguise
He tries to hide under Big Sur sunshine
but with my own eyes I see you
To  my heart I must be true
what happened to men and guys
I can’t settle for you
he said he is not comfortable about the age gap but we could still be physical
as if this is another grand prize
for him its something nice
touching me is paradise
but touching a loveless heart is ice
dont you see
I am looking for the miracle
the unicorn
the love
to be reborn
his offer only serves him
it wasn’t even that great a kiss
he was already attacking as soon as we got to the beach
men are only lonely for skin and bone
I just want to leave you alone
till i am loved body, heart and soul
i dont need to be physical with you
to my heart I must be true
where are the Romeos of 2025
all I see is a  douchebag in disguise
