He Remains Thirsting

He Remains Thirsting

A Poem by butterfly

I wish I could say I dream of us
I wish I could say I still feel the love
I know its gone
the magic that kept the bind is lost
I dont even want the ghost
I burn the memory
everything is a lie even when it was paradise
So I know love cant be mine
so I dont live life
I wanted love
you only gave me lust
so I no longer dream of us
I just float in the sky
with awful memories inside this butterfly
i wish i could say there was a better end to this story
but you made it clear we were just an affair
there is no glory
the magic of foolishness is gone
still I fly on
I wish I could say I dream of us
but when I wanted love
you only gave lust
so the women no longer trust
we walk single
but I am still sparkling
while he remains thirsting

Hiii Butterfly,

I understand what you're going through. Lust is a terrible thing to go through especially if you desire that emotional connection. And really lust is so temporary and then go away just like your poem stated. You're left with the remains of a ruined building that was never built. Something with no foundation nothing to cling to.

Wonderfully written poem. Thanks for sharing🤗🤗🥰🥰
