A captivating smile

A sheepish smile is what I see,

type of smile that eases me

Innocence in her eyes,

no need to hide behind disguise

I see her smile free and easy

yet her words are sad and breezy

No time for sad with a face so fresh and true,

no time for any boy to look and feel blue

when looking into

what can bring true

         happiness

I'd give it the title " Invigorating smile" ...

Yes a simple little smile sometimes gives more than many words. I often cannot understand people who are not able to smile when looking at others. Don't they know that a simple smile can brighten someone's day?!
I think to some it must definitely cost much more effort to bring themselves to smile than to look stern and cold, or are they already disappointed to that extent in life.
I for my part am convinced that the goodness and smiles we give will return to us and bring happiness to our beings ...

This is a beautiful poem! Full of tenderness, warmth and hope.

A smile can say and mean so much, even a smile from a stranger or maybe especially a smile from a stranger! Nice poem :)

Post edit.... just wonder why this lovely poem doesnt have a title... seems a shame not to use a bonus line and give it its very own identity..
