Try a day without words

Try a day without words

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Rays of light seep through the window.
Golden and beautiful,
  the warmth awakens.

Caress on the shoulder,
  see if you wake.

Yeah,
  Faker.

Start the coffee,
  aroma feels the air.

Brush on the back,
  kiss on the neck.

The silence is cherished.

By a glance,
  a touch,
  mere sense of presence,
  world is complete.

~ incredibly poetic words and thoughts, monsieur jon... ~ i relate to this piece intensely because i know that if my soul-mate returns to my universe, then i won't be writing for a long time... i'll truly immerse myself in "more sense of presence"...
