Let me make this clear

Let me make this clear

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Got a few minutes.
Have to make this fast.

Let's be straight.
You don't want to be here,
  and neither do I.
Even if we are being paid.

The more questions asked,
longer we all have to suffer.

You all are going to look at  me for the answers.
Flipping management does it.

So just ask me on the side,
give me a chance to actually show what you are confused about.

Now, let me relax.

Wake me,
  when needed.

~ a very interesting piece of writing, monsieur jon... i almost felt like you're the boss and i'm listening to you... :P

"The more questions asked,
longer we all have to suffer."

~ i loved the lines i just quoted especially... i've done this...as in ask too many questions...only to suffer...

~ and...i love the closing...the boss is always right... especially when he has to relax... :P

~ a very thought-provoking piece of writing... it makes me wonder about the management too...

Nice piece, and there's a simplicity in this piece which is really quite beautiful. Not any more than is necessary, and not so little as to be irrelevant. Very well done.
