Slick

Slick

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Smooth and silky,
  touch is light,
still with a bit of strength.

Still,
  so slick,
  you run away,
when I only want to play.

Turns to noise,
  where another brought music.

Just can't seem to hit the right chord.

You needed to be quicker in making your move...

I like the structure of your poems very... slick

I prefer to go in the way of Slowhand. Far as structure, I just write as if I was talking to you. .. read more

I get that... it shows...
Oh resonating! This is beautifully delivered, made me smile even though the intensity is apparent xoxo

~ that last line stabbed like a dagger aimed directly at the heart... until then a rather mesmerizing scene was unraveling... ~ very dramatic poetry... gives one a lot of food for thought... i wonder all the time about what it takes... to strike the right note...

Just think of the last line as a reason to try again.
