Lightnig strikes me.

Lightnig strikes me.

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I know.

Here I go again.

Still,
  better than whining.

Back to what I was saying.

You hear those old words,
  and gives you some insight.

Words of lightning striking their soul,
  fire blazing across their mind,
  hands drawn across the page.

Just the same thing,
  different day.

~ maybe... but for me... words speak of innovation and continuity... balance and adventure... ~ also, i used to say that "poetry is a fingerprint of the soul"... and i always see new hues in your fingerprints... :)
