Fishing

Fishing

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Never tried?
Even a moment?

Makes it hard to understand the hours.

Waiting for the one second.

Struggle ensues.

Fight to bring it in.

Finally,
  caught.

Time to release,
  let it swim.

~ oh, this is amazing... especially that you set it free in the end... ~ i think this piece is very profound because if i apply it to several life situations, it sort of tells me that being competitive is good only for the joy of "the one second"... not to harm another being... ~ superbly written...

~ you're very welcome...
While I have never fished I relate this piece a lot to time. I enjoy this about your work.
