It's amazing how much is read in between the words. Whitespace invites wild interpretation when you least expect, or intend. The thing which makes writing so valuable is also the thing that makes it so dangerous. We are the only ones in our own heads, hoping to make others understand what it would be like to understand us, to interpret us in the same obvious light we see, hear, and feel ourselves.
Much was said in between these lines....I'm grateful for the opportunity to shape your words into my own thoughts...

Just raised in the old way. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all. Combined with a thick skin, seems to work well!
