Actions and words

Actions and words

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Words and actions.

Some act as if they are two sides of a coin.

Flip the coin to explain the other.

I think more of the woven tapestry.

Each word is a thread,
  as is each action.

There can be flaws,
covered by one or the other.

Each an imperfection in a great work.

Part of life.

I try to weave my tapestry,
correct the mistakes my mortal hands have wove.

But,
  I am human.

There will be flaws.

Try to accept,
   and learn from the mistakes.

Weave a tapestry of life.

I love this poem. This poem reminds me that there are two parts to anything and that there is always more than one part to any story. Very good poem. Keep writing!

Thank you, Princess. Struggling with a thought. This is close, but not quite it.
