Strange visitor

Strange visitor

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Venturing through the long strands of kelp,
amazed by the beauty beneath the surface,
   a curious face appears.

"Who is this strange visitor?"

After a moment of observation,
  with a smile,
   the face withdraws.

I can only float in the currents,
and enjoy my moment of wonder.
