I have learned not to feel

I have learned not to feel

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Not as bad as it sounds.

I only ignore the random pains.

Heat is no longer an issue.
Fingers are smooth from the burns.

Only the body.

Mind and emotions are still fresh.
  Waiting.

:: ah... that's fascinating... the numb body and the sensitive mind... beautifully written...

I think that is important..if we let those small pains stop us...we would never move and some don't growing weaker.. not sure about the burns..but I can relate to it for baking (or forgetting about a cast iron handle ) lol .. ( :
