Reflections of the morning sky

Reflections of the morning sky

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Walking with you,
  your hand on my shoulder.

Dignity personified,
  holding a red tipped cane.

Only for a few hundred yards.

Until the next day,
  as I wonder,
can you see the beauty in your eyes?

When are schedules matched, I would help a blind man. We rode the same train and bus. I would just give him a shoulder, and lead. I guess this one was for him.

I see the beauty in this poem. Moment of true splendour.

Thank you. Just noticing what is around me!
I hear when someone loses a sense..the other senses become sharper…though they may not see their own beauty…they can sense beauty within another soul…. lovely ending

Thank you, my friend. Stories from life. They are always the most honest.
