I take snapshots

I take snapshots

A Poem by Jon Roggie

When you try to describe what you do
  I can understand the hesitation.

I can say I cook.

I will pay for it.

My hostess thanks me,
   amazing how eye contact works.

Sorry,
  distracted.

What I do is see.

Each moment I see,
  I remember.

Another moment in time.

Shrug my shoulders,
  and return a grin.

Bit of a mish mosh on this one. Few themes running through my head.
