Words stroll along in silence

Words stroll along in silence

A Poem by Jon Roggie

With barely a sound,
a simple breath before taking a step.

A walk,
 a write,
   a momentary relaxation.

Time to let the guard down,
 time to be alone,
   time others will not see.

Words thought,
 words quietly spoken,
words which do not break the silence.

A simple stroll through daylight,
  passing through shadows,
    hiding the glimmers of feeling.

darn those tale-tale glimmers that give it all away. :)

I know. How dare they show I have emotions!
Loved the rhythm and feel of this one … meditative, almost a mantra.
