Making soup

Making soup

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Something to sooth the soul.

Simple pot of water,
  brought to a boil.

Diced onion, celery, carrots.
  Nice start.

Now,
  fresh minced garlic,
    bit of basil,
      touch of thyme.

Tomatoes,
  why not?
      Add it to the mix.

Pasta,
   cooked separate.
Don't want to add too much starch.

Maybe some rosemary.

Close now.

Chopped baby spinach,
  added at the end.

Time to make the bread.

If nothing else, simple idea for a starving student. They can even use the ramen noodles.

i've been there...the Ramen noodle diet.
Wow, what is interesting about this is it somehow sounds almost sexy. Maybe you should try your hand at a recipe book. Might be a best seller ...:)
