Never stop learning

To stop learning
  is to let ideals stagnate.

Skills become commonplace.

Lessons are just follow through.

Learn something new,
   if only to spark the mind.

Today I saw how to make a rose,
  one made with apples and pie crust.

Tomorrow,
  I will try,
   and in even that simple process,
      I will learn.

I have a twelve year old niece. She knows everything. Asked me how old the world was. Confused when I mentioned different views. Had never been taught the term B.C., let alone so many others. Don't get me wrong, she is sharp. Hopefully, I can introduce some knowledge. Unfortunately, I did not get to make my apple roses.

True wisdom is being aware of how much we don't know. Ah, Dorothy and Toto! All “Yellow Brick Roads” of knowledge are open ended as they pass over distant horizons never reaching Oz, for it's in the voyage itself that we find happiness.
