Unsteady murmur,
  while looking at each other.

Unification of barely grasped thoughts,
   leading to a common roar.

This is a ghost in the machine write. I wrote it over a month ago, and now it shows up. Based on an attempted carjacking, and the people around grouped together. Bad scene for the carjacker.
