What price for a few words?

Why should anyone pay?
  I already put them out there for free.

Some friends are pushing me,
  and I admit I am intrigued.

Put a few out there,
   for a small price,
      and wait.

See who is willing to spend a dime,
  wondering if they feel it was worth it.

it's almost impossible to afford to give anything away these days, as much as we may want to...

but, we also do get intrigued by the idea of someone actually paying to read our words.
