I want to say why I write

I wish it was more,
 but how can I compare?

Granted,
  I don't want a hit squad coming for me.

I am like one of those old hippies.


I want peace.


Still,
  you can't expect  it to just happen.

When we accept violence,
   without responding,
       how can there be change?
