Glimmer of youth

Glimmer of youth

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Mind grows old,
 but the body refuses.

Looking the same as decades ago,
  while inside .....

Forget that,

I still have a sense of humor,
  and a glimmer....

Was going to say basically the same thing Jacobb said.Yet with age our mind must be exercised as the body or it will fade as our strength nice slant on life

I always remember the stories of immortals. The trick is always finding a way to connect.

guess that's where our creative mind has to work
love the reversal here...the play on the opposite of what usually happens...the body starts breaking down, but the mind stays sharp as a tack.
either way...we must keep our sense of humor...and that glimmer of youth.
