Wind or leaf?

Wind or leaf?

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Autumn is near,
and the leaves will be showing their beauty.
Momentary display,
 carried away on a breeze.

Wind,
 capricious in nature,
cares not where the leaves land.

Both are following their path.

One is a quiet path to momentary beauty,
  becoming a fond memory.

Another,
 always in motion.
Quiet for a moment,
and a force of destruction in the next.

Each return,
 showing their nature.

Leaving you to wonder,
 which one is you?

Marvelous take on Autumn and its beauty in relation to us all. You capture all that in a complimentary way. Excellent, Jon.

I guess we are all leaves, budding, blooming, fading, then finally falling and forgotten.
