What kind of a message?

What kind of a message?

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I have to think about it.
I don't seem to be able to settle on one issue.
Still,
 I may detect a theme.
The one constant running from write to write.
Whether it is a simple ramble,
 comprised of whimsical creations,
or an expression of personal pain.
Maybe the occasional plea for understanding,
or a momentary shout of anger.
I try to bring it back,
and give a reason to hope.
To see the one little thing,
even amidst the scenes of horror,
something to cause you to stop.
Look for a moment.
Shed a tear,
 or maybe smile.
Remind you of the possibilities of the world around us.

no, i have no idea what you're saying, but i like the way you say it. and sometimes, i enjoy having words in front of me rather than ideas; confusion rather than order. our stories are what we make of them, and thoughts are an exciting mess.

I love a good ramble once and again.

I tend to ramble, and rarely explain myself. Take that as you will more..
