Doubt

Doubt

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Whispers in the ear,
 spoken by voices unseen.
Steady rhythm running in the background.

Less unexpected,
 and not to mention irritating.

There are always doubts.

Now some would give in to those echoes.
Let them bring their purpose to a stop.
It would be so much easier.
 Cease to make the effort.

You take a lesson from doubt.
It gives you pointers.
Shows you the weak points.

If you feel it won't work,
did you consider what you are worried about
might be the point on which to concentrate?
