Just because

Just because

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I notice the current trend.
Most want to blame the other side,
 while nothing is accomplished.

Sorry,
 no time for that nonsense.

I live in a world of cities burning.

Other side of the country
 they are being blown away.

All of it seems to be a side-note.

Do you see the blood red sun?
 Wake up coughing?

Did you see the flames approaching?

Excuse me,
 you were saying?

You are right Jon. When no-one try to find middle ground. No-on will win. Your words honest and true. Today leaders. More jokes for the comedians and less help for the people. I liked your thoughts in the poetry. made me think this early morning. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
