Before I bring in the lights

Before I bring in the lights

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Something new,
 at least worth a try.

Our little lightshow,
 shared with the neighbors.

Tinkerbell flying across the garage door,
backed by a scattering of snowflakes.

Sadly,
the show is unable to play throughout the night,
simply because in the morning it might be gone.

So,
 I let the visions play,
at least until I grow tired.
