We were taught how to talk

One of the biggest fears is speaking in front of an audience.

Learning how to say your own words?

  Yes, 

    might make you a bit shy.

I learned how to write.

At the same time,

  I was on a stage,

     speaking the words of another.

It wasn't easy.

You learned certain speech patterns,

  and it was so easy.

They weren't yours.

So easy to slip back in.

Instead,

 I speak with my own voice.

like in Finding Forrester, we can start with someone else's words and then get in a rhythm as ours come.....

I was part of various drama clubs while growing up, and I was actually the Muffin Man back in 6th grade. In high school, I was given the character of Dr. Kokintz from the Mouse that Roared. Honestly, it was fun playing a character. Trying to find your own words is more daunting.
