Dragonfly lands on my shoulder.

"Looks a bit off."

"Yeah.  Might have to break out the level."

"Mind taking a look?'

Dragonfly buzzes a bit away.

Returns.

"Up 25 degrees."

"Sounds right."

Shape the earth accordingly.

This reminds me of when I used to judge people for not having the proper shoulder angle (nobody likes droopy shoulders -- that's why they invented shoulder pads). This concept can be applied liberally to gut paunches, varicose veined legs, & protruding nose hairs. We humans can be so exacting! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Watch the varicose vein talk. They have retreated a bit with the sustained weight loss. Anyway, this was actually inspired by a dragonfly flying in the backyard. One of the rust colored ones, and it would fly a grid. Hunting for whatever it might catch above the grass.

You say this with such lightness Jon, but I am picturing a face focused on unseen detail, moving, walking away, looking, nothappy, start again... Breakfast lunch and dinner forgotten and your unexpected guest thinking "geez, can't a dragonfly get a snooze around here."

I am currently working on a twenty-three foot walkway. Stone-work. Currently in Month 4 of the project. Fit it in between appointments.
Meanwhile, the orange trees in the back are looking fantastic!
