Once in a while, you get that bit of a conversation from a friend.

Hey, how you doing?
Seem a bit down.

Naw, doing OK.

Sure, your reactions don't seem to match the verve.

Doing good, just some memories are catching up.
Handling them, just a bit down.

Sure, you're doing alright?

Yeah, dwelling on the good things.

Get's me through the nights.

Light conversation which is shared regularly is just the tip of who we are. What is under the surface is sometimes best left as is. To be able to deal with our feelings individually is important. Your poem is this place of decision. Do I share or not?
