LipstainA Poem by Julia Ledo
You left a stain on my lips
With one little kiss Can't cover it With this morning's lipstick It's not coming off As I sip from my straw Your touch like a tattoo You're permanent Even when I'm done with you Lipstain kisses Tattooed touch And a voice that takes up tangible space You were too much to handle I couldnt make myself a hoarder of you Stack you up neatly Till you spill over in mountains And make a maze of my own mind Too much to handle Much more than bruises Much worse than shouts You did much more Something I had gone without Something so monumental It was all too much You loved so truly As to stain my lips And trace tattoos with every touch © 2015 Julia LedoReviews
