AdorationA Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)Writing as I go
''Twas in the morning
She bewitched him the most As if her rising yawn In breaking dawn With white moon Over misty ocean In breaking sunrise Took him to another place Another realm A mystical magic Spell She lay there Her covers half had shed And early yellow sun and Misty moon Rays on her head He knew he would love her So till he breathed his last Breath so He quietly covered her bare Skin And made their coffee for another Heaven sent day Just she and him The moon the sun The stars the gulls The rising tide and she and him © 2017 Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere) |
