Fragments

Fragments

A Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)

Fragments of me
Segments of you
Morsals lay idle
On plates left to crust
Like fragments of you
And me
All left to crust
And decay
And whither to dust
Our love once so new
So deep and so fresh
Now fragments of me
Morsals of you
Like food left on plates
Segmented
Left idle to crust
