That Asian meal To wake me with such Frightful stir I feel I'll be awake now Till roosters dawn Last night my meal Of stir fry chook With Asian greens and Soy indeed It tasted good I ate it rightly so Without a seconds leap to go I downed it with two glasses Of fruity mix Off some forgotten vine And now I lie awake again My eye on clocks that chime So chef I beg you next time please Just go without the added zest I like my food au natural la best © 2017 Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere) |
