I wish I wish I had known you then short thick brown hair round big blue eyes in your scout's uniform or out fishing with your dad and brothers your years went slowly by you left your mum your brothers too you married me i still see the little boy in you the little impish grin your fists up ready to fight imaginary or not
i still see you that little boy lost lost to me as we parted company but i still see you that little boy way back when you were but a stranger in some street id maybe see
Do you still see me do you see the little girl in me? Time is of no esence here Its the boy and girl who met the teens who date the lovers who loved the lovers who wept the husband and wife who created a happy family that danced and drank and laughed and cried their nights away
Its the little boy in you it never really went away i still see it now do you see the little girl in me as you sit fondly beside me now in our latter years now as you sit by me i see the little boy in you time is of no essence here we lived a life and we still are as you sit by me reading the paper now and I make a cup of tea for us now just for some pure company
its the little boy in you i still see it now i see in your photographs now
Aww what a sweet wonderful tribute to your husband and best friend. I love this. We should all be seen in this way from people we love. Well done. Nice read for sure.
Being married for 33 years now, I really related to this one. Thank you for writing words I wish I could say and for sharing this beautiful tribute to life. Cheers!
