Played old lps last night at dusk and danced to the full moon

The scratches on vinyl
Reassuringly played
A hundredfold
The signatures on covers
So old
My youthful handwrite
Full of dreams
Of life yet so unlived
Unseen
Unspoken yet to have

i remember these times, used to wait 'til my parents went out and would play them on the living room stereo - one time a neighbor came over and asked me to turn it down. i like their songs' deja vu' and 'ohio'. thanks for the nice nostalgia trip julie. now i feel old but with music we're all well preserved. love your ending ... :)

The needle most definitely had it! How I miss those days of turntables and scratchy acoustics from speakers. I believe the LP has made a resurgence though, so everything old IS new, again!

I hear there's a blue moon tonight, so I shall raise my glass to you, there in Australia...and wish you a very happy spring!
