my last goodbye wishA Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)this was inspired for me to write by my favourite poem and it is called ""the last review"" by Henry Lawson a famous Aussie poet. this is my version of my last review or my goodbye to my loved ones.dont cry for me when i arise to go when you only may feel my spirit so but this i do know my hands will be cold my skin will be white my eyes closed shut but ill see the one true light please dont weep and sit and toil yourself so dont wail and scream remember i told you this so just know that i am with you always watching you from afar but so very near and in your life ill grin and see you growing older year by year ill wish to touch your hair your hand but all i can do will be to love you so ill watch you look at pictures or such of me and you when we were young my babes in arms i love you so so dont weep for me when its time to go its all a plan and rightly so ive lived a life seen many a fair share of sunrises sunsets oceans and lands and mountains too ive lived my life seen lots of beauty so real and yes I know some days have been oh so bad but on the whole some mostly good i cant complain ive had a good life promise this dont weep for me dont waste a second on that or youll be in strife just live your life and remember your mum had a rather good life
