A Prolonged Afternoon

A Prolonged Afternoon

A Story by joe

There are things that can only be done when you’re young and immature. So there’s no reason for wanting to go back and change things when you’re mature. Even something which you think was a mistake in the relevant past, because the fact that you feel this form of nostalgia: “regret” means that you already are taking this into perspective as a lesson for the future.

There is a time to say sorry, thank you, I love you, and goodbye or else you won’t have the same opportunity even if you feel the same way as you did then.

I agree with you I'd say, when you're young it's the time to be immature but there's no point regretting it when you're older. There is a time for everything. I like how you expressed this quite simply, it was short and easy to understand and I enjoy reading things like that because it gets the point across and doesn't drabble in other unrelated things that don't need to be there. So this was good.
