Burnt Out Star

I look at you and see nothing but pure beauty

Except I never gave myself a chance

I Tried

But I kept being torn away by my own mistakes

I would follow you anywhere

But you're shining like a fallen star

To radiant for me

The fear of being left behind

Covers me in the darkness of night

I thought I could be with you

But my chance was gone before I knew it was there

You to great for me to stand for

I was once a star in your sky

But now I float in space

Watching

Wishing

Burnt out

Now I stand in a pit dug by my own sorrow

And all I can do is look up and hope

Hope for a glimpse of you

Love it! It's a deep, radical poem. I can tell you're a good writer, so keep it up! One thing though: You should work on grammar, because your writing will be taken more seriously if it has good grammar. But other than that, nice work!
