[I. He’s a supersonic
scientist]
We
saw the warden of the flesh sitting around
waiting for battle to arrive, per dove, per horse
And watching this wonderful ocean, it’s more likely
That ships will depart, to never be found
Guess he fooled you all, for when battles over
He’ll be sitting on the floating throne
Debate, debate all you want, he’ll be the overseer
The king with red in his eyes to cover
And we’ll climb up the mountain of human flesh
watching over the land with green trees and grass
And everyone will finally see that the butcher was nothing
but a supersonic scientist
[II. The man, the dog, the
schoolyard]
A
man arrived, he carried the news
A man deprived, all gone, none lost
A man revived, gained a muse
A man survived…
“He tries to give his falsehood a gloss of moral sanction”
Guess he fooled you all, for when battles over
He’ll be sitting on the floating throne
Debate, debate all you want, he’ll be the overseer
The king with red in his eyes to cover
And in his right hand a leash, attached a dog
Watching carefully children play,
He holds what the future knows, none
but a simple butcher
[III. Would you teach me how to dance?]
To see the world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour
And when you see no wild flower
but pain and suffering
Try again and
look closer
For when you are required, duty to moral sanction
“In a minute”
Thank you for the soup, thanks for the conversation
“Stay beautiful”
NO WE CAN’T!
We’re too dangerous…
