Gadgets and Gizmo's

Our lives are filled

with new

gadgets & gizmo's

one claiming to be

better that the previous

what was wrong

with the one before

did it not work

for you

or

has it failed a

process or two

If

it has not

performed

like it should

by

all means chuck it aside

for some shiny

new device

one

that claims to

last & last

But

if its still

in working order

why not be satisfied

with how it works, or

must you always

keep up

with the Jones'?

nice poem and good point....sometimes things are just better as they are....however, keeping up with the jones is not my style. i usually like to drive past them so fast i don't ever have to look at thier ugly faces again....just kiiding....lol....really, a nice poem
