Happy Un-father's Day

A Poem by Joshie MacCasim

Dedicated to all the dead beats Written in a child's perspective

"

dear beloved dad
I haven't heard from you since mom left
you told me that you love me
but your new family you love best
you said you'll never leave me
but you never by my side
and you want me to still love you but my feelings I can't hide

I hate you!! with all the love that's in me
if I make it big one day then you'll want to see me
I once was daddy's princess for what's between mommy's leg
and now that yall over I 'm sick of hearing her stress and beg ,
don't spend time with me fine I don't give a f**k
ya im only six but I smart, know what's really up
you never want to see me and you never give a dime
but mom is strong shell find a way to survive

once upon a time she said that she was my daddy
a child only four then she amused me made me happy
thanks to you ill NEVER know what a daddy's love suppose to be
and ill never know what it feels to have both parents loving me
but its okay cause my mom says your immature, she says that you once loved me
but I became your chore, a sudden bore, and because of her you don't love me no more
she says you may have forgot that I existed men love who they are with and her body you just rented,
she wish the hurt on me prevented, cause her boyfriend does more ,
and im just venting cause Im a little kid who doesn't understand
how daddy could just walk away, you aint no daddy or a man
but I understand, mommy's my new daddy , sorry to bother you
your a sperm donor so uncanning, enchanted by the way mommy always have my back
happy non father's day, please thank my mommy for picking up your slack.
