Just Dreaming

Just Dreaming

A Poem by Joshie MacCasim

Dreams of Honey colored sunsets

as the sun shines bright as the moonlit night

As I lay in this Barren Fields with so much thoughts to write

Things go through my head as the thoughts turn to rainy mud filled puddles that fill my mind

how do I make it Clear?

Should I make them come near or should I jump right in like a child

in a line waiting to spin around on a merry go round on a summers eve?

my thoughts are all mixed up and mixed in

and without the golden water to quench my thirst Its like mixing the burning earth with the coldest wind.

Will I ever abandon this barren field or turn it into the land of golden dreams >

or will it always lay bear and frozen dreaming of what it can be?
