No Grasp

No Grasp

A Poem by Warlord Kitten
"

another old poem inspired by a book

"

Brown eyes shot with gold
memories of muses of old
run with the spirt in her
movements and the fire in
her soul that make his
heart go ablaze Her body
and her soul make him
long for her but by the might
of fate they were away
fate is kind and deatiny loving
brings them back again but
her fire is snuffed and
spirt, erased The rain
pouring down between them
like a curtain never
parted he turns away in
shame She reaches but he is gone
Tears fill her eyes but fall
from his for they have no grasp
