Sunlight and MoonbeamsA Poem by Warlord Kittenanother old poemSome believe in dreams and miracles
One is as white as Moonbeams,
Waiting for peace, while the other, Dripping in sticky scarlet, wailing over a shattered love
Some wait impatiently for sunrise, Overjoyed to be Engulfed by sunlight And the others watches for nightfall, longing to bathe in sweet moonbeams and bitter darkness
while those who cry, swim in thorns.
Why cry when you can Smile? Why wail when you can laugh? © 2008 Warlord Kitten |
