The guitar lulls along, as if it was just along for the ride

Closing my eyes, I sway along to the song...

I long to sing, not knowing the words but ready to belt away

The guitar strums along, as if it was trying to sing as well

Every note seems just perfect...

As if I knew and didn't know it was going to go there before it comes to existence

The guitar goes along, as if it was just going with the flow of the song

I bite my lip...

The last bit makes my heart soar through the clouds

The guitar stops, as if it was trying to take in that very Soul
