a waiting spiritA Poem by JusticeI feel the winds blowing and the cold air going My heart should be grieving from all of this leaving Going from this world silently, oh so quietly Not a tear escapes my eye, do you know why? Why I don’t cry when death leaves its touch? I don’t believe that death keeps us down It only keeps us away until that final day When I cross from this world to join them Why grieve for those in another place I know they are gone, but it won’t be long Until I join their never ending song
