fear isn't new to anyone, is it?

And all these moments spent,

So free and unquestioned,

Under a mutual fear of uncertainty,

How I wish I knew what lurks underneath that calmness,

Perhaps a storm that wreaks havoc,

Perhaps a dream achieving its completion.

Love the last two lines of this poem. The repetition is great. Perhaps separate those lines into a couplet to enforce the effect. This may sound picky, and it is indeed a personal preference, but I do not favour the use of "lies" in lines 3 and 4. I figure you can use more artistic words to generate equal or greater meaning.
