Here Comes The Poetic FussA Poem by Katherine Enma PineappleEveryone has troubles with the so called, if it can be so called, WRITER'S BLOCK dundundundunInspiration comes in many funny ways Like when you’re in dire need of ideas And your poem is due the next day And you need it for a passing grade Just starting at the first stanza Your mind is in a troubling array The first line’s already gotten in the way Noises! Oh Noises! I shall scream LA LA -I can’t hear your disruptive waves! When the first hurdle is over Here comes one bigger than the other! Will I ever finish this poem and get this over?! Mother! Mother! Please help me Mother! Oh heavens that obstacle I finally passed But how will I end this poem fast?! Finishing it greatly is a must! How could Literature give me such a fuss?! But alas I am done at last With a smile on a face, confident of my craft The title comes as I read my poem fast: “Here Comes the Poetic Fuss.” © 2012 Katherine Enma PineappleAuthor's Note
